La serie de pinturas matéricas: Las
ciudades interpretadas o paisaje urbano utilizando sus residuos, gira en torno a la pintura matérica y sus
posibilidades de expresión.
Las sociedades
actuales marcadas por la cultura de “usar y tirar” pero conscientes, cada vez
más, en los últimos años de la nocividad de ciertos elementos en el medio
ambiente, así como la necesidad de reducir determinados costes de fabricación,
han sido decisivos para iniciar y desarrollar una conducta de reciclaje (vidrio, papel, plástico,
medicamentos, …) en las colectividades urbanas. Lo inservible se convierte en
útil. El ciclo no termina, comienza.
Es la constante
búsqueda y rescate de materiales, organización y conexión con la pintura
para buscar la armonía, el caos, un concepto o pensamiento, el eje de rotación de las ciudades interpretadas.
